May 2015, Vevey (Switzerland) - Sale of second-hand goods in aid of animals
Always willing to help others, the president of AUXAN agreed to support the association “ARESP” on Saturday 30th May in Vevey. A group of volunteers from ARESP came up with the idea of holding a stall in the town centre of Vevey for three days in the aim of making the association known and also to collect donations thanks to the sale of home-made cookies and salted caramels and Jennifer’s gluten-free granolas (“Les Granolas de Jenny”). Many volunteers came to lend a hand throughout the day, accompanied by their rescue dogs, including two which had luckily escaped the meat industry in Thailand.
The result was extremely positive and the initiative was warmly welcomed by the local population!
