The assistance given to each animal shelter in difficulty is defined on a case-by-case basis according to their specific needs.
The support can take the form of:
Donations of food for the animals
Help in purchasing equipment for the improvement of the animals’ living conditions (e.g, fencing, heating)
Donations of medical supplies (disposable or equipment) enabling veterinarians to treat animals in optimal conditions
Financial aid to cover outstanding invoices or veterinary fees
Provide coaching to help charities gain more visibility
& Occasional animal fostering
To be wholly and solely dedicated to collecting funds and donations and redistributing these to associations selected according to criteria such as their ethics, their financial transparency and their efficiency in rescuing animals.
*N.B. AUXAN only helps animal shelters; it does not pay veterinary expenses for individuals.
Material needs. In case of urgent need, we can provide emergency food to help feed shelter animals.
We are also dedicated to improving the animal’s living conditions and their quality of life by purchasing tools or equipment such as; fencing, dog kennels , heating and in exceptional cases provide a motorized vehicle (van/ tractor).
Auxan is focused on donating medical supplies to help veterinarians treat neglected, abused or injured animals in better conditions. To improve animal care, we can either donate single use medical and surgical equipment (sutures, etc..) or medical equipment machines, thanks to our generous partners in the medical industry.
In some circumstances, we can provide financial assistance on a case by case basis. This assistance can help cover critical outstanding invoices, in particular the operational costs linked to running a shelter. We can also help with pending veterinary bills to those struggling to make ends meet.
Outside material needs, we can also provide other types of support, depending on our resources. We can occasionally find a foster home. Auxan can also help increase the visibility of an animal charity by helping fund-raise and/or coach them, by organising booths in conventions or events (sportive or scientific).
Finally, we also wish to create a community of animal lovers by connecting the right people with the right projects: sometimes it is just a matter of creative networking to have a real impact!
